Здравствуйте.
Прошу помощи. Необходимо на ZyXEL Keenetic Lite II добавить dns хост и указать ему определенный ip адрес. Как это можно сделать на этом маршрутизаторе? Адрес my.keenetic.com на этот маршрутизаторе доступен на ip самого роутера. Значит можно добавить и дополнительные записи.

Майкрософт прекращает поддержку Skype Smart tv для Skype и с 11/05/2016 у родителей внешняя камера не включается . Камера у родителей Logitech TV HD Cam при включении пингует хост www.skype.com и если он доступен, то камера якобы видит интернет и скайп запускается. Но это глупость. В коде явно прописать жесткую завязку на хост и зависимость работы камеры от доступности хоста. Добавлю запись www.skype.com на 127.0.0.1 пусть его пингует. Спасибо, коллеги.

В интернете сегодня отписались, что с добавлением dns зоны www.skype.com с активным адресом с локальным DNS сервером - работает. Но не дело разворачивать отдельный DNS если можно статическую запись добавить. Будем тестить вечером. Майкрософт подгадила.

I can confirm you that I fixed that problem with the second solution.

If you have a laptop, you have to find a way to share your laptop connection. You have two options:
1) You can connect the laptop with LAN wire and share the connection with your wireless. For this first option, you can follow THIS VIDEOGUIDE (with windows 10)
2) You can connect the laptop with wireless and share the connection through a LAN wire (Try THIS video or similar).

Now comes the tricky part:

3) Connect the CAM to the laptop (with WIFI if you are in option 1, with wire in option 2) and try to connect. It will not work, but you have to do this test BEFORE.
4) Edit the host.ics file on your laptop. Follow THIS VIDEOGUIDE. Add at the end of the hosts.ics file these lines:

127.0.0.1 www.skype.com
127.0.0.1 163-248.static.quiettouch.com

5) Now, try the connection test on the cam. It should work. It will go through the internet check, and ask for skype account. At the end, before unconnecting or other stuff, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU UPDATE THE FIRMWARE. Go in the settings and look for it. Update the cam (it will take a while and it will restart)... Than when the set up will be finished, you can connect the cam to your regular wifi. It will work, guaranteed.

Problem Solved.

If you want to be sure that the IP addresses are working, before doing everythin try to ping them from your laptop. You can use EVERY IP YOU LIKE, it is enough that it works. To ping an IP address, follow this VIDEOGUIDE
