smart ups 700 -умный !
имхо - вот эти два умных порой не договариваются.
На сайте производителя всегда писали что надо подправить (кажись через сеть) эти несоответствия !
Ну там еще просили типа подправьте то ,то .......
Вот( в старой голове осталось типа )даты подкоректеривовать в карте они типа там не волидные

Question
This document provides a resolution to the "Serial Communication Lost" message when opening the web interface of a Web/SNMP Management card (AP9606) or Network Management Card (AP9617, AP9618, or AP9619).
Answer
If the last "battery replacement date" field is not populated in the interface of the Web/SNMP Management card, you may receive erroneous messages. Quite often you will see the message SERIAL COMMUNICATION LOST displayed. You can update this field with the following procedure: (the easiest thing to do first is log out of the card and wait 30 seconds and log back in, try this several times before performing the below steps, sometimes the card can take a minute to establish communication on the UPS serial bus)
1. Power down the load on the UPS and then power off the UPS and brain dead the UPS (after power down unplug the UPS and hold the off button for 4 sec. The sensitivity led on the back of the unit will turn off).
** If using a Symmetra Power Array, step 1 is not necessary, please skip to Step 2.**
2. Remove all Smart Slot accessories, including the Web/SNMP Management Card from the UPS.
** If using a Symmetra Power Array, the PowerView LCD Display is considered an accessory and needs to be unplugged as well.**
3. Power the UPS back on and connect the black smart signaling cable (940-0024C) from your Smart UPS to a computer with Hyperterminal or a terminal emlation program installed. Verify communication by typing Shift Y: the reply will be SM. This will confirm that you have asynchronous communication established.
4. Type "x" which should be followed by 8 characters or possibly blank.
5. Type "-" followed by any date in the format MM/DD/YY (e.g. 01/01/00).
6. Type "x" and it will now reply with whatever you entered (e.g. 01/01/00).
7. You are now finished. Disconnect from Hyperterminal, power off the UPS and brain dead the UPS (after powerdown unplug the UPS and hold the off button for 4 sec. the sensitivity led on the back of the unit will turn off)
8. Reinstall any accessories, and the Web/SNMP Management Card and power the UPS and the load back on.
Background:
This problem has only been seen on a couple of occasions. It typically occurs if the UPS_ID and Last Battery Replacement Date are not allocated some value, and the Smart UPS has an SNMP card installed. These may also be recorded in PowerChute's Event Log. An example of this is as follows:
UPS Self Test Failed
Shutdown Low Battery
Shutdown Delay
Shutdown until Power Return
Bypass Relay Fault
Fault Internal Temp
Power Restored
UPS in Bypass
UPS out of Bypass
Load Turned on
Power Restored
Self Test failed.....etc.
All of these events happen without justification. The best way to guarantee that the events are false is to look at the log and you will see that several of the events (3 or more) will have the same time stamp. Additionally, these messages disappear upon removal of the card. The problem lies with the Smart UPS and its synchronization of the accessories, and is solved easily by updating the values in the two fields listed above. It is unlikely that the card itself is faulty, and thus replacing it will not solve the problem.
